VIOLA CAMERON 23 May 1934, daughter of ARCHIE CAMERON and MAY HOWE. She was born 20 July 1916, and died 18 August 1996.Notes for WILFRED DUFTY:Following a lengthy illness, Wilfred Dufty passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Sept. 2, 1963. He was in his 57th. year.
The late Mr. Dufty was a son of the late George Dufty and of Mrs. George Dufty who resides at Kinmount. In the year of 1834 he married Mamie Cameron of Lutterworth. Prior to his illness for a number of years he was employed at the stone crusher at Kirkfield. He was also employed for a short time in Toronto, with his failing health forcing him to retirement.They moved to Norland where they built their residence.
The deceased rested at his late residence in Norland until Sept. 5th thence to Norland United Church for funeral service with Rev. Donald Drew officiating, bringing a comforting message to the bereaved family.
To cherish his memories are his bereaved wife, the former Mamie Cameron, a daughter Gladys ( Mrs. Joe Finn) of Toronto, Leslie and Bud of Toronto, Ted and Cathy at home; his mother, Mrs George Dufty, Kinmount. Also surviving are three brothers: Walter of Kinmount; Cecil of Brampton; Lorne of Toronto and two sisters Lottie (Mrs. McQuade) of Omemee and Irene (Mrs. Bud Sonly) of Port Perry.
Paulbearers wer five brothers-in-law: Gideon, Angus Duncan, Ted and Danny Cameron, and Byard Greer.
Interment was at Pine Grove Cemetery, Norland.
